Karaoke!
I'm in the design stage where I sit and stare at the design and try to figure out why it won't work. Self-review, I guess.
Earlier, I thought it might be fun to use the display to show lyrics. Like a tiny karaoke machine. But that wouldn't be much fun since all you could do is kind of sing along. "It's not like I have an audio input path for a micropho... WAIT ONE MINUTE."
I've got an audio jack for line out, and I've got this brightness toggle switch I have no use for. I had just wired it into a GPIO and had planned to figure it out later. But it's a DPDT switch - I can use it to toggle between a line out path and a mic in path. And I have a spare op amp I can use for a mic preamp (I'm using a quad op amp chip).
So this thing is also now a karaoke machine.
