Got the ESP32 in and much to my relief, it works without issue. :)
You can also see the 32KHz crystal can and the two MOSFETs forming the DTR/RTS control.
Had bad connectivity on the SD slot because I didn't put enough solder paste on, but after a second application it works fine. At this point, initialization is failing on the expected missing display.
I think that's a good place to leave it for tonight.
