Toxoplasma Gondii

Render of the Toxoplasma Gondii board

Toxoplasma Gondii is a quadrature mouse adapter board. It was created to turn cheap and plentiful PC mice into Amiga mice, which have become increasingly rare and expensive. It filters the analog quadrature signals from the rotary encoders into digital signals. While it was designed for Amiga mice, theoretically it should work to adapt any system that uses digital quadrature signals, like classic Macs. Or it can provide digital filtering for any other analog signals.

It is of course named after Toxoplasma Gondii, a mammalian parasite. It is known for altering the behavior of rats and mice. :)
